Hi friend! I am so glad you are here.
Honey & The Word was created because I wanted to offer children an experience where they could learn more biblical truths, outside of kids worship songs - the focus being on biblical truths and stories in the bible, as well as finding ways to help them remember what His Word tells us. This simple yet persistent prayer became an incredible vision for going beyond just our family alone - with families like you in mind! After having not much luck in finding resources readily available and all together, I wanted to create my own - bringing in everything we do together in our own home and making available to you.
The name "Honey & The Word" depicts the sweetness of children, the praises to God, and the truths and guidance we find in his word. Psalm 119:103 says "How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth." (ESV). When you pair Honey & The Word, we dive in and see the joys of Jesus, the tastes of His Truths, and the power of prayers.
A bit about the family behind this:
My name is Emily, and I am a stay at home (and homeschooling) mama. Above all, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Prior to staying home full time with our 4 children, I was incredibly blessed to serve as a preschool teacher.
What started as a prayer, and a relatively quick door being opened, I brought up this idea (what seemed crazy at the time) to my sweet husband, Tyler. From the moment I told him, there was an unwavering and enthusiastic support. We continued to pray on it, and the Lord has made every bit of this possible.
Every episode and resource made available is prayed over and carefully made to help families and their children build a lifelong relationship with God and His Word.
`Our simple prayer is that even one little heart would come to know the love and joys of Jesus. The content is designed in an effort to reduce overstimulation that often comes with flashy performances and lots of noise - instead, we will engage in biblical truths, hands-on activities, and gentle invitations.
Whether you are a parent, caregiver, or teacher, we pray this space blesses you with free, joy-filled resources that point your children towards Jesus - no matter your financial situation. We are so thankful you are here and along on this new journey with us.

Our Mission
Honey & The Word hopes to address gaps in children's religious education by offering a chance to grow and learn - outside of worship songs - focusing on biblical truths, memory verses, and crafts that aid in motor skills. We encourage more quality time learning and praying together and offer resources free for personal use to families of all financial situations.
It is our prayer that God uses Honey & The Word to encourage parents and children to learn and experience the grace of God, the joys of Jesus, and the power of prayer in their homes.
